I don't buy anything without doing research first. We had heard the design vacuums were good products and had seen them in use at the houses of family and friends. We decided to get one for ourselves and we got it from amazon.com.

When it arrived it was extremely easy to setup, took only about five minutes and required no tools. I vacuumed our house with our current vacuum (an orek upright) and only after the floor looked clean did I try out the dyson.

One pass with the dyson and I was convinced. It picked up so much that the other vacuum missed, it dug down deep into the carpet and got all that pet hair, all the little lint that had fallen into the cracks, and the attachments cleaned our couches, behind the vents and throughout our kitchen.

The thing turns on a dime, is very easy to use and navigate, and doesn't scratch up the furniture or the walls.

Best vacuum ever! -- Best vacuum ever

I have always hated vacuum cleaners, until now. The Dyson Animal Ball does a great job picking up dirt from carpets and hardwood floors, isn't too loud and is very easy to steer! I wouldn't have any other vacuum. -- First time I have LIKED my vacuum cleaner!

I was nervous about ordering online, but amazon had a great price. It was delivered free and quick, though the shipper had really dinged up the box (big rip in the box, just left it outside without even ringing the doorbell.). Fortunately, no one stole it, and the vacuum wasn't damaged. Super easy to assemble, works as promised. Dyson provides a long warranty on parts and service, so will assumably save $$ there. The bin is plenty big - handles most of the house without needing to be emptied. I have 3 cats, 4 litter boxes, a toddler and an infant. This vacuum sucks up all the litter, fur, sandbox sand, more without kicking up any dust. It isn't too noisy. I use it from the carpet right onto the tile- works on all floors with no adjustments. My carpet finally looks clean, and I don't curse anymore when it's time to vacuum. My only complaints 1) the cord could be better - I like the ones that retract, also this one could be a little longer 2) the wand could have better instructions. It's cool, but it took me a bit to figure it out. I have a hard time angling it for windows. Oh- the mini turbo doesn't have a storage spot on the vacuum. All in all, I'm glad I bought it, and super glad I went thru amazon for the price. -- I'm happy with it

We purchased the Dyson DC25 on amazon.com. Amazon.com offered the DC25 at $100 cheaper than local stores, plus free shipping. The item arrived quickly and was immediately put to use. After using the Dyson for the first time, we immediately noticed a difference in our carpeting. It looked brighter and cleaner. The Dyson DC25, although pricey, was an excellent investment, especially for a dog owner like us. Highly recommend it. -- Dyson DC25
